Each reference sheet I draw gets better! 
I improved his design a LOT from his concept art, featured here: bigmommat.deviantart.com/art/C…. This style reflects his personality much more, his hair isn't just drawn half-assed so I can upload the picture, and in his outfit he wears band shirts under a black blazer, which references his times as a drummer. When I first drew him I had no idea what his backstory/personality was like, but now I have a great idea and have successfully incorporated him into the story.
